"Urdu" refers to 'camp' or mobile mint. It has no specific location, it moved with the army or the Emperor's entourage. The usage has central Asian / Iranian ancestry. Turkomans, Timurids, Safavids, Qajars, Durranis etc struck coins from such mobile mints with mint-names such as "Urdu", "Rikab", "Zarbkhana-i Rikab" etc. In Akbar's chronicles, the name "Mu'askar-i Iqbal" is used for such a mint - however, we haven't yet found used it on a coin.
These coins do not have mention of 'Zafar Qarin' and are therefore far rarer.
