Kalima within quatrefoil; rev: name of king within quatrefoil. Akbarabad was the name given to Agra by Shah Jahan in honour of his grandfather Padishah Akbar. It is here that he built the Taj Mahal – a mausoleum to his wife. It was completed in the year AH 1064 (1653 AD). This corresponds to the year and issuing mint of this coin.
