Nusratabad was the name of Shahapur, a strategic fort in the Bheema valley originally under Adil Shahi control (the "Shah" in the name refers to the Adil Shahs). The dargah of Chanda Hussaini at Gogi near Shahapur was a shrine venerated by Adil Shahi sultans. First four rulers of the dynasty, including Yusuf Adil Shah the founder are buried here.
