The couplet reads ‘Malik-al-Mulk, Sikka-e-Zad Bar Zar, Shahe Sultan Salim, Shah Akbar.’ It translates to ‘The lord of the realm struck money of gold, Shah Sultan Salim, (son of) Shah Akbar. Tir was the last month of issue for this series.
