This beautiful and diminutive coin was struck from specially engraved dies and bears an inscriptional arrangement that appears to be previously unrecorded.

The obverse bears the Kalima, with Burhanpur inscribed in the third line at the bottom. The reverse carries the name Shihab al-Din Muhammad Shah Jahan, with traces of a beaded border visible beneath Shihab al-Din.
