This type for Daulatabad mint was struck in the first reginal year of Shah Jahan, curiously while Daulatabad was still under Nizam Shahi control. It has a unique style of having an intricate floral backdrop for calligraphy, reminiscent of grape blossom. Fractional issues in this type are very rare with only a handful known.
