25% Overweight. The couplet reads: 'Ba Farwardin Zar-e-Lahor Shud Rashk-e-Mahe Anwar, Ze Noore Sikka-E-Shahe Jahangir ibn Shah Akbar.' Translation: 'In Farwardin, the money of Lahore became an object of envy to the shining moon, through the light of the coin of Shah Jahangir son of Shah Akbar. Jahangir issued a series of coinage where a unique rhyming couplet was inscribed on the coin for every Ilahi month. This coin is the ‘Farwardin’ coin from that series. The coin alternated between a square and round issue each month.
