‘Shahenshah Zaman’ couplet within a decorated eight pointed star shaped enclosure on both sides; the couplet reads as ‘Bar Zar-i-Lahore zad ain Sikka dar, Ardibihisht Mah Shahenshah-i-Zaman Shah Jahangir ibn Akbar Shah.’ Translation: On the money of Lahore, struck this stamp in the month of Ardibihisht, the King of Kings of the World, Shah Jahangir son of Shah Akbar. This is part of a series of coins which incorporated the name of the Ilahi month into a unique rhyming couplet.
